POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Primary contact for the Sales team and customers who request technical and commercial quotations for products and services.
  • Lead quote development and coordination of requested commercial RFQ’s and RFP’s.
  • Answer incoming Sales phone calls, emails, web inquiries and assist customers.
  • The ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team towards common goals is essential.
  • Build and maintain professional working relationships with customers and Account managers.
  • Handle inquiries, questions, and complaints to help resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Own multiple quotations and deliver to customer objectives.
  • Professionalism as well as paying close attention to detail
  • Follow the divisional processes for all quotation development.
  • Must have the ability to multitask with strong planning and organization skills with sense of urgency
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of team members and work effectively within a team environment and independently

 

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Complete required training/workshops to maintain a high level of knowledge and skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems is desired.
  • Complete basic financial evaluation of offers for profitability

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a sales or customer support environment
  • Flexible work schedule as needed

 

AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE and EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years in Sales Support environment. Some commercial experience required beyond college.
  • AS in Science / Business or Work experience equivalent to 5 years in Sales /Administration. BS preferred.
