Iodine Monitors


Extremely low levels of  I-131 can travel great distances in molecular or organic form and are trapped on high efficiency absorbent thermoplastic cartridges which contain an impregnated activated carbon and detected using a 1 1/4 x 1" NaI (TI) scintillation detector. These iodine detection systems can be configured on either mobile or fixed platforms.
