Reactor Control and Protection

Reactor control and protection systems for nuclear power plants worldwide

Knowing exactly what is going on inside reactor containment at all times is critical. Reactor control and protection instrumentation provide the means of doing this using digital neutron flux monitors to measure levels of neutron radiation; ultrasonic level measurement systems for indication of reactor water levels during outages; boronmeters to measure the reactor's boron concentrations in the primary fluid; and instrumentation for measuring hydrogen concentrations under normal and/or post-accident conditions.
