Liquid Monitors


Our liquid monitors detect radiation in effluent releases or operational processes and use a 1¼"x1" NaI scintillation detector inside a liquid sampler with 4 π lead shielding to detect gamma emitting isotopes. A radioactive source is built into the NaI crystal which allows drift compensation whenever temperature changes occur.

  • On-line, off-line, in-line and/or adjacent-to-line liquid monitors
  • Scintillation detector NaI (Tl) 1 ¼ “ X 1”
  • Measurement range: 10-7 to 10-1 μCi/Cc
  • 1E qualification and embedded safety-related software
  • 4π 2” shielding or 4π 4” shielding
  • Embedded 241Am source for temperature drift compensation
  • Available under 10 CFR 50 App. B, ASME NQA-1 and IEC61226 programs for safety related applications
