Description

Quickly and accurately monitor people for internal contamination of radionuclides.

The system is factory calibrated from 88 keV to 1836 keV and ideal for quantification of nuclides with energies greater than 300 keV. However, with subject matter expertise and interactive analysis, identification and quantification of radionuclides with energies below 300 keV can be achieved.

The FastScan system uses large area sodium iodide detectors and the Mirion Apex-InVivo™ and Genie™ software to achieve low minimum detectable activities with count times as fast as one minute. This whole-body counter is intended for use in nuclear power plants and other facilities where the possible contamination spectra are well known and uncomplicated.
