John Portillo supports new nuclear and large reactor clients in their efforts to deploy safe, clean, reliable nuclear power worldwide. He serves as a subject matter expert across Paragon's product offerings and has spent over two decades with the company in roles including Director of International Sales and Senior Director for Nuclear Sales Operations. John also actively contributes to international and DOE/DOD business development initiatives.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution and a Master of Engineering in Technical Management with an emphasis on Leadership and Data Driven Decision Making, both from Texas A&M University.

James Cocks was named Chief Technology Officer in October 2023. Previously, he assumed the role of Chief Product Officer since July 2022. Prior to this role, James served as North America Detection & Measurement Division President for three years and, for three years prior to that, Characterization Division President. James also served as Chief Technology Officer for Canberra Industries before its acquisition by Mirion in 2016. During his 18 years with the company, he held management positions in Product Management, Engineering and Business Development. He began his career as a Research Physicist working at the Accelerator Laboratory at University of Jyväskylä, Finland. He holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Liverpool, UK and an MBA from Henley Business School, UK.

Mehran is a licensed professional engineer with over a decade of experience in radiation monitoring systems, radiological engineering, shielding and dose analysis, and nuclear licensing. At Mirion Technologies, Mehran develops system-level solutions for the specification of new, complete radiation monitoring systems in support of the advanced and emerging nuclear market. His work focuses on designing systems that meet detailed customer requirements, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote long-term operational efficiency.

As Director of Operations at Mirion Technologies (Conax Nuclear), Mitchell L. Staskiewicz is responsible for leading the daily activities of the manufacturing plant, overseeing personnel and processes to ensure operational excellence and safety.

Previously, as a former Sales Manager, he built and maintained global customer relationships in the nuclear market, ensured compliance with industry standards, and coordinated cross-departmental efforts to deliver critical plant equipment on schedule.

Over his 35-year career, he has driven strategic growth in sales, marketing, new product development, manufacturing, and industrial and retail markets. He excels at establishing procedures to ensure profitable, long-term client relationships.

Mike works for our Application Support Group (ASG). In his role he supports the North American sales team with challenging customer applications, mostly in the field of gamma spectroscopy, alpha spectroscopy and in-vivo systems. He started with the company in 1985 after graduating from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering. Mike was a Sales Account Manager in the Mid-Atlantic region for 34 years before moving to ASG.

Loic Eloy has served as our Technologies Group President since 2022. Mr. Eloy joined Mirion in 2015 and previously served as Vice President of Mirion’s Detection and Measurement (Health Physics) Division from 2015 to 2019 and President of Mirion’s Radiation Monitoring Systems Division from 2019 to 2022. Prior to joining Mirion, Mr. Eloy served as Director of Finance and Accounting of Areva from February 2008 to February 2012, and then Commercial Director from February 2012 to January 2015. Prior to 2008, Mr. Eloy held various finance and commercial positions with Siemens. Mr. Eloy received an MBA from the Universidad Panamericana and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Administration, Economics and Marketing from the University of Lyon.

Sasha Philips is the Research and Development Director for the Systems Business Line at Mirion Technologies, where he leads a team responsible for identifying market and customer needs, defining strategy for the business line, and ensuring successful overall business performance. Sasha joined Mirion (then CANBERRA) in 2001 as a research physicist after completing his PhD in nuclear physics. He subsequently specialized in non-destructive assay (NDA) methods for nuclear waste and safeguards, and then transitioned into product management, and other leadership roles. His experience covers several areas including nuclear waste characterization and criticality accident monitoring.
