Description

Building on advanced digital signal processing (DSP) technology, the Lynx II offers 32k channel integrated analysis and supports a broad spectrum of detector types, including HPGe, Si(Li), PIPS®, X-PIPS™, CdTe, Cd(Zn)Te, and most scintillation detectors. Its wide energy range capability (from 1 keV upwards) ensures suitability for diverse spectroscopy tasks.

The compact design incorporates front-end signal conditioning, a high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC), programmable digital filters, and both digital and analogue oscilloscope functions. Features such as automatic pole/zero adjustment (US Patent #7725281), baseline restoration, dual 32k channel spectral memory groups, digital stabilizer, and triple-range high-voltage power supply (HVPS) are integrated for reliable, precise operation. Status indicators on the front and rear panels provide clear feedback on power, acquisition, communication, high voltage, and count rate.
