The NEMA IEC NM Body Phantom provides accurate, standardized performance testing and calibration of PET and SPECT nuclear medicine imaging systems, ensuring compliance with NEMA and IEC quality assurance standards. It enables reliable validation and verification of imaging performance for routine QA programs, including annual scanner checks and harmonization across multiple systems.
The phantom replicates human anatomical features and tissue characteristics to support testing under NEMA NU2, NU1, and IEC 61675-1 and 61675-2 standards. Its fillable, human torso-sized elliptical cylinder contains various spherical and anatomical targets, designed for use with a range of radionuclides.
