After being postponed twice in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mirion Connect was held in person from September 20 through September 24 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. Mirion welcomed over 100 customers to the annual Users’ Conference. Participants enjoyed a week of dynamic discussions, product and software demonstrations, and a variety of presentations, complete with a scenic venue and mountain views.
Two intensive days of training on Monday and Tuesday kicked off the week, with over 70 customers in attendance. These training sessions are vital for our customers’ continued success and provide opportunities to earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs). This in-depth training set the tone for a focused and engaged conference to follow.
The conference officially began on Wednesday with an inspiring welcome. The general sessions on Wednesday and Thursday mornings hosted a variety of speakers, from scientists to technicians and an author, followed by lively question and answer sessions. We were delighted to welcome customer presentations during the general sessions, including Rick Leasure from Entergy Nuclear, Yvotte Brits from X-energy, David Perkins from The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and David Brehm from Omaha Public Power District (OPPD).
Our 5,000 sq. ft. demo room was open for three days where attendees experienced hands-on demonstrations using Mirion equipment and software and brought their unique, pressing questions to our product experts.
