Description

Electric Conductor Seal Assemblies (ECSA) allow a method of interfacing with customers equipment and can be used anywhere sealing of conductors is required, inside or outside containment. Mirion has supplied over 35,000 ECSAs to nuclear power plants worldwide.

Standard ECSA Feedthrough Density Table at 135 °F (57 °C) - Single circuit application only:

Applications

  • Resistance Temperature Detector
  • Thermocouples
  • Limit switches
  • Solenoid valves
  • Pressure transmitters
  • Motor operated valves
  • Level sensors
  • Any Class 1E devices requiring sealed conductors

Quality Standards

ECSA's are Class 1E qualified to IEEE-323, IEEE-344, IEEE-383 and IEEE-572 for in-containment applications and can be used where sealing of conductors is required, inside or outside containment. All parts are manufactured to ANSI/ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B.
