Description

The Model NPS-2000-2 is an Amplifier/TripTest/Alarm Control Unit designed for use in a CANDU Nuclear Power Reactor. The device amplifies and conditions the small current signal from a self-powered neutron flux detector and provides part of the trip logic for a Nuclear Protective/Safety Shutdown System. It is designed to mount in a standard 19 inch (483 mm) mounting rack.
