Description

Explosive Actuated Valves provide extremely fast response and superb reliability in excess of 99.99%, with zero leakage. Parent metal seals, redundant primers and low-voltage actuation for use in stand-by liquid control, pressure relief and passive systems.

The Mirion Technologies (Conax Nuclear), Inc.’s special purpose ASME Class 1, Sub-Section “NB”, “N” stamp, dual primer explosive valves are in use throughout the world for Standby Liquid Control, Instrumentation cable cut/seal, Pressure Relief, Passive systems, and wherever reliable instant or emergency operation is needed. Our advanced electro-explosive technology assures an extremely reliable fast response (0.002 seconds), zero leakage with parent metal sealing and a reliability exceeding 99.99%.
