  • Constructed of 0.55" (14 mm) thick tungsten, attenuates FDG F-18 by 97%
  • Easily wiped clean using a damp, non-abrasive cloth or sponge and a mild detergent or degreaser and water. After cleaning, wipe the surface dry with soft, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use abrasive pads.

Description

The Z-PET Syringe Shield greatly reduces hand exposure from syringes containing 511 keV radionuclides. The barrel of the shield is constructed of 0.55" (14 mm) thick tungsten that attenuates FDG F-18 by 97%. The shield accommodates standard 5 cc syringes.
