Job description

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for sales activity development on standard HPGE and PIPS detectors.

Internally, you will interact with the International Sales teams and manufacturing to strengthen the offer in the current markets and develop new business opportunities worldwide for PIPS and the EU/Middle East for HPGe. You will provide relevant feedback and information to the Sales teams for a better general understanding of the market and help to develop value adding proposals.

  • Business development within the current Mirion market segments in collaboration with the product line managers and outside the Mirion market segments for OEM/industrial accounts.
  • Creation of value adding proposals and negotiation, through a deep understanding of the customer application
  • Technical review of orders to assure final compliance and specifically with export legislation
  • Preparing Sales and Order budgets
  • Close follow-up and communication with existing and new customers to ensure their expectations are met.

Profile description

Do you have the suitable qualities to be a Technical Sales Engineer?

You are responsive and have enthusiasm for the field of technology.

  • You have a Master Degree in Physics, Science, Nuclear Engineering or equivalent,
  • Experience with selling and building relations in a technology environment,
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is a requirement, French being an asset but not mandatory,
  • Knowledge of the nuclear market would be an asset,
  • You are customer-driven oriented: a clear communicator who quickly analyses the customers’ need,
  • Flexible: eager to learn and easy to adapt in a rapidly changing business environment,
  • Solution orientated: seek and find information to address the customers’ need,
  • Pragmatic: striving for the best solution to process a deal quickly,
