Description

At the Dosimetry Services Division of Mirion, we recognize you have specific needs and understand radiation monitoring requirements vary depending on exposure risks and regulatory requirements. We offer you a wide choice of dosimetry technologies to fit your needs. From Thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLD), Instadose® dosimeters, to our APex Beryllium Oxide (BeO) Optically Stimulated Luminescense dosimeters; we have the perfect dosimeter for your environment and program.

The APex dosimeter's slim profile and lightweight (2.8” x 1.6”) make the badge easy to wear on the body or extremities. The increased sensitivity inherent in the APex dosimeter provides accurate dose readings even when exposed to extreme temperatures or moisture.

As with other OSL technologies, the APex dosimeter can be reread multiple times, enabling re-evaluation into unusual exposures.

Broad dose response capability makes the APex ideally-suited for a wide range of applications and environments.

Applications

  • Medical practitioners and technologists, dentist, veterinarians, chiropractors, or any practice with potential exposure to photon or high energy beta radiation.
