The Instadose® family of dosimeters is transforming the way facilities manage their radiation monitoring programs. Now immediate dose reads can be captured by smart phones, tablets, or internet enabled computers. With Instadose dosimeters in your facility you can increase dosimetry compliance and lower dose for high risk employees with ease.
The Instadose® dosimeter is a small, rugged dosimeter based on proprietary direct ion storage technology.
This breakthrough technology provides radiation workers with a precise measurement of radiation dose and includes accurate long-term exposure tracking. A built-in memory chip stores each user's identity via an embedded unique serial code that is assigned to the user.
Mirion Technologies Dosimetry Services offers radiation monitoring products (x-ray badges) of unmatched effectiveness and true cost-savings to make sure your work environment is free from the damaging effects of radiation.
Serving the needs of enterprise customers where there may be hundreds of employees, often in various locations, requires specific expertise and specialized program management. Our monitoring services can be tailored to meet your specific needs, as we recognize that monitoring programs often require multiple badge types and monitoring periods among different locations.
Operating from a state-of-the-art, free standing 45,000 square foot facility in Irvine, California, we continue to invest in the exploration of new monitoring technologies and to enhance our processing capabilities. You will find our people to be some of the best in the industry, with an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. Lastly, we offer the most robust online capabilities in the industry for reporting, account maintenance and general information.
Radiation monitoring services are the foundation of any radiation safety program. In facilities where individuals are exposed to radiation as part of their job they are required to wear a radiation dosimeter. These dosimeters ensure that radiation dose is kept below legal limits and allows the radiation safety officer on site to manage each person's dose to keep it as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA).
Mirion's comprehensive dosimetry service program includes:
Every radiation safety program has its own unique needs. Here are some additional resources to help you choose the best options for your program.
The right radiation monitoring program to meet your requirements can be found at Mirion. We recognize you have specific needs and understand radiation monitoring requirements vary depending on exposure risks and regulatory requirements. We have a vast array of dosimeters to serve a variety of businesses and industries, and provide accurate radiation monitoring reports and permanent compliance documentation.

If you have X-ray or diagnostic equipment in your office, varying levels of radiation exposure risks may exist. Mirion Technologies Dosimetry Services Division can ensure that you assess risk levels appropriately and that the proper dosimetry monitoring service is implemented in a cost-efficient manner.
Dosimeters (x-ray badges) recommended include:
Genesis Thermoluminescent (TLD) Dosimeters - respond accurately to beta, gamma, X-ray and neutron radiations. The Genesis TLD dosimeter allows for the reporting of deep, lens of eye and shallow doses.
Ring Dosimeters - perfect for those who handle radioisotopes or perform interventional radiographic procedures. For low or high energy beta, X-ray or gamma radiation monitoring of hands and fingers.
Instadose Line of Dosimeters - provides immediate dose readings by using any internet enabled computer and can be read up to a cumulative dose of 12 rem.
APex Dosimeters - slim profile and lightweight makes this badge easy to wear. As with other OSL technologies APex dosimeters can be re-read multiple times.
Even low levels of ionizing radiation from x-ray machines could represent a potential health hazard over time. Though exposure may be minimal on a daily basis, continual monitoring is necessary to ensure the ongoing health of your employees.
Recommended dosimeters (x-ray badges) include:

The highly important work performed at national laboratories often encompasses potentially high exposure to ionizing radiation. Scientists and research assistants working directly in these environments need to be aware of exposure levels on a regular basis. National laboratories must adhere to strict guidelines of operation as well as state and federal mandates.
We can help you determine the optimal dosimetry program for your environment and customize programs by department if necessary.
Dosimeters (x-ray badges) recommended include:
CR39 Neutron
High Dose Dosimeters
Eye Dosimeters
With service programs tailored specifically to your needs and backed by solid technical expertise, you can depend on us to respond to the unique requirements of nuclear power facilities. Your facility can also have access to the convenience of BadgeTrak, a proprietary customer software program that automates the dosimeter management process and ensures timely and efficient management for dosimeter processing.

Homeland security has become a top priority in recent years to assure the safety of individuals around the world. If asked to perform duties in an environment where radiation may be present, assessing exposure levels is crucial and reporting on a regular basis a necessity.
Many State, Federal, and Military agencies work in environments that monitor radiation programs or environments as well as carry the responsibility for crisis management in the event of an emergency. Ensuring public health, safety, and the integrity of our environment is the primary concern of these government organizations and safety personnel.
We understand how critical it is that all personnel be protected to reduce or avoid short-term, or acute, exposure to radiation.
Recommended dosimeters (x-ray badges) include:
