BeOSL Photon Dosimeter
Photon dosimeters are used, among other things, by employees who perform work with X-ray equipment, such as in hospitals, veterinary clinics and dental practices or where there are gamma radiation emitting sources.
The BeOSL photon dosimeter is equipped with two detectors of beryllium oxide. These are located behind different filters of 54 and 616 mg/cm2 respectively. The first detector is used to determine the surface dose, the second to quantify the depth dose.
